REGISTER YOUR INTEREST
Thank you for your interest in joining Strathmore Netball Club.
We currently play in both the Parkville Competition and the Essendon District Netball Competition.
Seasons commence as follows:
Autumn – First week of February
Spring – First week of term 3 (school)
We are always in the process of looking at teams for the following season and also to fill any gaps in the current season with new players where we can.
We hold a try out day in October, which you may be invited to, should we have room in your age group.
Our club is a graded club, and players are placed into teams according to ability, rather than on a friendship basis.
We field teams from ages 8 to Premier Open, and from div 1 to div 6, so all ability is accounted for.
We also run a NetSetGo program for 5-8 year olds in Term 1 & Term 3.
Training is on either Mondays or Wednesdays at Aberfeldie Primary School courts, between 4.30 – 7.00 depending on Age Group.
Availability of a space on a team is dependent on a number of factors:
1. Space within a team
2. Having a team to suit the player ability
3. Having a team to suit the playing position of the player (more so in older teams)
We can determine most of this with some information, along with a trial during one of our training sessions.
To be placed on the clubs waitlist for a position within one of our teams, or to register your interest for up coming tryouts, simply click on the link below complete a short, 1 minute form.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer everyone a position, as our club is also capped at numbers, due to availably of coaches/courts/facilities etc. Having your name on this waitlist, does not guarantee you a spot with the club. But please know if something does arise that suits, then you will be contacted.
Hope this information helps, and should you have any further questions, please send an email to registrations@strathmorenetball.com.au
